Cachet Live at The Proper
Cachet is a Los Angeles based, multidisciplinary artist. A Chicago-born DJ sprouted from deep-rooted soul, grit, and disciplined transitions. They developed a signature style of DJing, genre-bending new, old and global music such as house, soul, funk, disco, afro, latin, and break beat often including their own re-edits and cuts of popular tracks.
Cachet held a long-standing residency as The Infusion Project at world-renowed, Smart Bar Chicago and recently performed at Charivari Detroit Music Festival. They currently have radio residencies with Djoon Paris, Playasol Ibiza Radio, House Nation Music Bari Italy, and 313.FM Planet Funk Detroit. Their DJing repertoire spans across the underground nightlife in warehouses to clubs across the world.
Cachet’s unique niche of lounge and nightlife residencies in Los Angeles have included Ysabel, Margot, The Proper, and now the newest installment Bar Funke in Beverly Hills by two-time James Beard-nominated chef, Evan Funke.
Cachet continues to bring in new notoriety as founder of Sashay Records, a queer, Chicago-based label that celebrates the birth and culture of warehouse music. The record label is actively breaking barriers and setting a new precedent for independent artists.
